I have mentioned before that each year I have to make larger-than-I-normally-make Christmas cards for a client. (More about that HERE.) I want to show you how this year I took a small card and made some slight changes to adapt it into a card that measures 5-1/2″ x 8″.
I started with a card design that is featured in the current Stampin’ Up! 2014 Holiday Catalog. I used the Wonderous Wreath Photopolymer Bundle found HERE.

As you can see, I kept the main part of the card the same. I used a full sheet of card stock folded in half. To fill up the extra space, I used a background stamp, added drywall tape, a doily, and a piece of designer paper. I like how the gold ribbon ties is all together.

I think it was a hit! The client’s secretary just informed me that I need to make about thirty extra cards. (I think I might have to order my own personal Christmas cards this year. How pathetic and ironic would that be?!)
