My projects have been delayed because I have
been on a search for shoes for my daughter. I know. You are thinking, "How hard can it be to find a pair of shoes?"
Well, in south Florida, it can be impossible. You see, it's usually always warm here. On the few days when it's not warm, my girls just wear Converse sneaks to school. On all the other days they wear flip flops. Yup. Flip flops almost every single day.
Nearly every single pair of shoes for sale in our stores are for warm weather.
So when we are faced with the task of buying a pair of good walking shoes, we are faced with an impossible challenge. She needs a good pair of shoes for her upcoming school trip to France/Spain.
As her mom, my requirements are shoes...
*That have arch support.
*That cover her entire foot.
*That will protect her foot from the elements.
*That she can walk in.
*That are stylish.
*That are appropriate for a 14 year old girl and not someone who needs orthopedic support. (Did I say that politically-correct enough? In other words, not "old people" shoes)
Oh, and they can't be made out of paper, either. So I guess these are out...
