My daughter was put in charge of sending out birthday cards to the young single adults in her ward at church. Okay, let's be honest...my daughter volunteered herself to send out birthday cards to the young single adults in her ward at church because she knew I would happily make them for her. :) While she was home for spring break, I used the opportunity to assemble all of my odds and ends and scraps into a bunch of birthday cards for her to use.
If you look closely, you'll see three cards that were left over from the First Holy Communion cards that I made (HERE.) I love using scraps. I find that I put things together that I normally wouldn't, like the first card on the second row with all of the random circles.
It's fun to step out of my comfort zone and make scrappy cards!
